Following the acquisition of Retail247 in late 2025, Barron McCann is pleased to announce the completion of a major integration initiative between two of our software businesses: BMC Azurri and Retail247.
Over the past three months, both teams have worked closely to combine BMC Azurri’s market-leading POS and Digital Gift Aid solutions with the powerful retail management and eCommerce capabilities of the R247 platform. This collaboration has resulted in a new, fully integrated Charity Retail Software Solution, designed specifically to meet the needs of medium and large charity organisations across the UK.
One End-to-End Solution for Charity Retail
By bringing these complementary technologies together, Barron McCann is now uniquely positioned to offer a complete end-to-end solution for charity retailers. The new integrated suite provides:
- Enhanced stock management and e-commerce capability
- Proven Point of Sale (POS) and Digital Gift Aid functionality
- A single, joined-up platform tailored for multisite charity retail operations
- Complete support from one trusted provider
A Milestone for Retail247 and BMC Azurri

Curtis Thomas, Assistant Manager of BMC Azurri, commented:
“Integrating the Retail247 functionality into our software stack has significantly enhanced our capabilities in stock management and ecommerce, allowing us to offer even greater value to charity retail customers.”

Martin Schofield, Chief Executive Officer of Retail247, added:
“This collaboration allows us to offer a new charity focussed software to the market. We look forward to bringing our extensive retail experience to the charity sector and building on the strong foundations established by BMC
Azurri.”
A Strategic Step for Barron McCann
Barron McCann welcomes this development as a significant strategic milestone.
“This combined charity software solution strengthens our position across the retail and charity sectors. We can now fully support the hardware and software needs of medium and large charities from within the Group, offering a complete, integrated technology ecosystem.”
